Again, as with the activities, what you eat and drink and where you have it is down to you. You may wish to have some of your meals at The Continental or you may wish to go out every night to locally recommended restaurants, of which there are plenty with lots of variety and for reasonable prices. Breakfasts are provided everyday at both apartments. They are self service and the apartments are regularly checked to ensure that they are fully stocked with everything you need for a Continental breakfast to start each day of your holiday.
Lunches are taken whilst you are out and about, generally up the mountain at one of 3 good value eateries. However, with the new high speed 8 man telecabins you can now come back down to Cauterets town and eat there with more choice of restaurant if you wish. |
In the evenings, if you are staying at the Continental, Amy can prepare a 4 course meal for you and your friends' enjoyment, supplemented by the local wines. Alternatively we will book you into one of the many local restaurants that we have tested and thoroughly recommend. |
During your stay we will always stock your apartments with a generous amount of local beer, wine and soft drinks - this is already factored into the holiday prices.
For those staying in the Continental we recommend doing a mixture of the above and, for example, you have 2/3 dinners in whilst you are in relaxation mode and 3/4 dinners out and about the town. All the food at the Continental is freshly bought and hand prepared by Amy and anyone who has dined with us before knows that they will not be disappointed. |
